Benjamin Pavard: ‘Disappointed but proud’

"We're disappointed because we lost the match, but we're proud, very proud of the team because we're talking about one of the best teams in the world. We conceded a lot of chances in the first half. It's never nice to concede two penalties, but we can be proud of ourselves and our performance. We also had chances to score more goals. Now we're going to review what went well and what didn't on video so we can continue on this path.
We had a few chances, we could have done better. Unfortunately, we conceded two penalties. We looked them straight in the eye, we can be proud of our performance. We're going to rest quickly because we have a match against Paris coming up.
We have a very good squad with experienced players and young players, and we worked hard for each other. Even when it was tough, everyone gave their all, the forwards, the midfielders and the wingers. We need to keep up the momentum. There were a lot of positives to take from this match."
