Key figures to remember after our Olympians' 3-0 victory over Stade Brestois at the Orange Vélodrome on matchday 12 of the 2025-2026 McDonald's Ligue 1 season.

Facing Brest on Saturday afternoon, OM recorded its eighth victory in Ligue 1 McDonald's 2025-2026. This season, OM has earned 25 points in 12 games with a record of 8 wins, one draw and two defeats. Over the last ten seasons, OM has only done better once in terms of points (27 points in 2020-21) and equals its record for number of wins (also 8 in 2020-21).

In the match against the Bretons, OM did not concede a goal. In their last five home games, our Olympians have kept three clean sheets, as many as in their previous 28 home games. Regarding matches at the Orange Vélodrome, OM has won 13 home games in L1 in the 2025 calendar year (with two draws and one defeat). This is their highest total in a single calendar year since 2019 (13 wins).

Against Stade Brestois, Angel Gomes opened the scoring with a direct free kick. He is the first OM player to score from a direct free kick since Pierre-Emile Højbjerg against Lens in November 2024.

Mason Greenwood added to the score, still in the first half, with a penalty. This is only the second time that OM has scored a direct free kick and a penalty in the same match in all competitions in the last five seasons, after Dimitri Payet's free kick/penalty double against Lens in September 2021.

Having scored against Lorient, Auxerre and Brest this season with OM in Ligue 1, Angel Gomes has now scored three goals. This is his highest total in a single season in the top flight. The midfielder has scored in two consecutive Ligue 1 matches (against Auxerre and Brest) for the first time in 116 games.
Mason Greenwood has scored 29 goals in Ligue 1 since joining OM in 2024, including 11 penalties.

In the second half, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sealed the victory for Olympique. The Gabonese striker scored his 62nd goal in Ligue 1, his fifth against Brest.

This match against Brest allowed Roberto De Zerbi to reach a milestone: 100 goals scored. Since joining the OM bench in 2024, his players have scored 102 goals. He becomes the first coach to reach 100 goals with OM in the top flight since Rudi Garcia. Of the 102 goals scored during the Roberto De Zerbi era, 62 (60%) have been scored at home, more than any other team on their home turf in Ligue 1 since the start of last season.
