Adil Rami voted Olympien of the Month - January 2018

Although its never common to have a central defender as a Club’s Player of the Month, Adil Rami has achieved the unusual in honor for his stellar run of form in January.

The 6-foot-3-inch stalward was instrumental in Les Olympiens dominance as part of a defensive unit that conceded just two goals in six matches (both in the month’s final match, a 2-2 draw with Monaco).

In that same match against Monaco, the French international scored a piledriving header in the seventh minute — at the time, equalizing the match at 1-1.

All in all, Rami received a decisive 43 percent of the votes while Florian Thauvin received 27 percent and Valère Germain received nine percent.
