Assist Men: Two Olympiens in attack

There is a long tradition of the best assist-man in Olympique de Marseille since 2007-08, first season where the LFP has counted assists. In 10 seasons, four Olympians have reigned as the League’s assist leader:

  • Lucho Gonzalez (2009-10)
  • Mathieu Valbuena (2012-13)
  • Dimitri Payet (2014-15)
  • Morgan Sanson (2016-17)

Now, it's a safe bet that a new Olympien will again stand atop the statistic this season.
