Monaco, Lyon, OM: The home stretch
With just five matches left in the season, four points separate three teams between second and fourth place. Monaco, in second with 70 points, is pursued by Lyon and OM who have 66 apiece. The Rhone club, third, is just ahead of Marseille on goal differential (+36 for Lyon, +27 for OM).
In the last five days, Monaco is the team with the most away matches(3 games) compared to Lyon and OM’s two each. OM and OL will also be at home on the last day of the season — where everything could be decided. In the final sprint, Monaco, which has a four-point lead over the other two, will face only one team in the top 10 (Saint-Etienne), just like OM (Nice), while Lyon will play against two teams currently ranked in the top 10 (Nantes and Nice).
