19-year-old midfielder Nassim Ahmed signed his first professional contract with OM, coming out of the Academy. It is a three-year deal.

Nassim Ahmed signed his first professional contract, Friday afternoon at the headquarters of Olympique de Marseille. The defensive midfielder has committed for the next three seasons in favor of the club of his youth. He signed his contract in the presence of Jacques-Henri Eyraud and his relatives.
Nassim Ahmed was born on October 9, 2000, in Marseille. He joined the Olympien Academy in July 2013. His career was fraught with challenges, including serious injuries, but that did not discourage him but rather strengthened his motivation and his desire to succeed. In February 2018, he signed a trainee contract with OM and today, he signs his first professional contract.
This pure left-footed defensive midfielder is able to play on the left wing in defense or in the middle. A humble, hard-working and explosive player, he played last season with the National 2 team for coach Philippe Anziani.

Nasser Larguet, OM Academy Director:

"He has a Matuidi profile, he is very generous on the field with a huge volume of play. He has things to improve, of course, such as the his technique in the final 20 meters. He has a very interesting profile for the future. He had an injury at the start of the season but came back and hardly came out of the team despite the descent of some professional players. He was exemplary. He was one of the players who boosted the N2 team. He was at the end of the contract, so it was our duty to offer him to continue working with him on a three-year professional contract. We are very happy and proud that this player has signed. We want him to be able to be on the fringe of the first team after six months or a year at most next season."
