OM announces pre-season friendlies

Les Olympiens have announced three pre-season friendlies for coming weeks

From 17-25 July, André Villas-Boas’ men will take part in a second stage of pre-season ahead of the 2020-2021 league start. This time, les Olympiens will stay in the Bavarian town of Grassau, Germany.
Filling out the calendar are three friendly matches. The first will on Sunday, 19 July, against FC Pinzgau - a club playing in Regionalliga, the equivalent of the Austrian third division. Despite the suspension of matches, FC Pinzgau finished second in its championship last season.

 

For their second match, on Wednesday, 22 July, Steve Mandanda's teammates will face German-side SV Heimstetten. A fourth division club, the Kircheim club in Munich finished 14th in its league before the stoppage. In its ranks, the German roster includes Luca Beckenbaueur ... grandson of Franz, former Olympien coach and German legend.

 

Enfin, la dernière rencontre aura lieu le 25 juillet face au FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda. Cette équipe évolue en première division du championnat slovaque. Depuis la reprise de leur championnat, ils ont disputé quatre matchs pour un bilan de trois victoires et une défaite. Ils sont actuellement troisièmes au classement.

Finally, the last friendly will take place on 25 July against FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda. The team plays in the first division of the Slovakian league. Since resuming their league, they have played four games for a record of three wins and one loss. They are currently third in the table.
