OM's 2020-2021 Fixtures
The Professional Football League on Thursday, 9 July, announced the Ligue 1 Uber Eats fixture list for the 2020-21 season.
Matchday 1 kicks off with a heavyweight bout between André Villas-Boas' Olympiens and Saint-Etienne at the Orange Vélodrome on Sunday, 23 August. Through the first six matchdays, Steve Mandanda and Co. will face a congested schedule. Following the reception of the Greens, Les Olympiens continue with trips to Brest and Paris. Then, OM hosts Lille and Metz. Another headlining match will come as the Marseillais face Lyon.
Due to the health crisis, the league will not resume until 23 August. Thus, during the second part of the season, the dates of the matches will less spread out. Five meetings will come midweek.
Another change compared to previous seasons, the first half of the season will not end in 2020 but in 2021. Matchday 19 day is scheduled for the weekend of 10 January, 2021, with a trip to Dijon.
Finally, the season will end with a trip to Saint-Symphorien in Metz.
