Against Sète, OM won 2-1 thanks to Dieng and Payet. Olympien recruits Balerdi, Gerson and De la Fuente played their way onto the scoresheet.

For their second pre-season match, OM faced Sète, a National-level club, at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus Centre. Under a blazing sun, les Olympiens played in a 3-5-2 formation and opened the scoring quickly through Dieng. Dieng, who provided an assist last week, was on hand to finish off a superb service from Payet.

Caught on the counter, les Olympiens were equalised eight minutes later by the Setois.

Leonardo Balerdi, who officially arrived a few days ago, started in central defence alongside Amavi and Alvaro, as did Gerson, who made his first appearance for the club this week. The Brazilian was decisive in earning a penalty for OM which was converted by Payet.

The final period was, as last week, the one for the youngsters as they were supervised by Dimitri Payet. This last half-hour saw Konrad De La Fuente for the first time. The Olympien winger was very enterprising on the left side with his speed, his technique and his quality of cross.

OM won their second warm-up match and will face Servette Geneva on Thursday 15 July at the Parsemain Stadium in Istres.
