The Spanish right-back has signed a five-year contract with Olympique de Marseille.

Olympique de Marseille has reached an agreement with Italian club ACF Fiorentina for the permanent transfer of 23-year-old Spanish fullback Pol Lirola. After a successful medical, Pol has signed a five-year contract with the Italian club.
He is the ninth Olympien addition of this summer transfer window.

On loan at the club last season, Pol Lirola played 17 out of 24 games, scored two goals and provided four assists. Always very active on the right side, the Spaniard is a true modern full-back capable of transforming into a winger when the team attacks. He is quick, technical, a good crosser and has excellent vision.

Developed as a youth player at Espanyol of Barcelona, Pol played 5 seasons in Italy with different clubs (Juventus, Sassuolo and Fiorentina) where he always impressed. 
He is an U-21 international and won the 2019 European Championship in this category with Spain.

Pol will use all his energy and talent to help the club achieve its objectives.
