Olympique de Marseille would like to thank Lucas Ocampos for his time with the club (2015-2019). His Grinta, his simplicity, his style of play and his love for the shirt have electrified, over the years, Marseille supporters. On the pitch, the Argentine, who scored 32 goals with OM, gave everything and left nothing. OM wishes him good luck.

Coming to OM in the winter of 2015 via loan from AS Monaco, the 24-year-old was later officially transferred to Les Olympiens during the summer of the same year. Despite scoring a goal in his first match against Rennes on 7 February, 2015, Ocampos struggled in his first two seasons. He was then loaned during the 2016 summer window to Genoa in Serie A before being loaned again to AC Milan in January 2017.

The winger returned to Marseille, determined to win his place. The situation changed as Frank McCourt became the new owner of OM and Rudi Garcia the new coach. Lucas Ocampos seized his chance and grew to become an important part of the team. He played fifty-three matches with the club across all competitions during the 2017-2018 season, including the scoring of 16 goals and contribution of three assists. The native of Quilmes participated in the spectacular Europa League run.

The following season, Ocampos became a valuable and reliable starter on the left wing. The former River Plate player played 40 games, including 37 starts with five goals scored and eight assists.

Thank you and good luck, Lucas!
