Les Marseillaises beaten at home
It was party time on Friday at the Francis Turcan stadium in Martigues. Les Marseillaises were playing their first Arkema Première Ligue match of the 2025-2026 season at home. The packed stands cheered loudly to encourage the team well before kick-off. However, it was the Normandy team that got off to a better start. In the fourth minute, Boisard found the back of the net. Effa followed suit less than a quarter of an hour later. Our Marseillaises reduced the deficit, showing character, in added time in the first half with a penalty from Mathilde Bourdieu.
In the second half, both teams pushed hard. OM to get back into the game, Le Havre to pull away. In the final minutes, Dalin Anrifani's players laid siege to the Le Havre goal. Unfortunately, to no avail...
