Les Marseillaises end 2025 on a high note
The match against Montpellier HSC, a direct rival in the battle to avoid relegation, was of the utmost importance. The Marseille women approached it in the best possible way. This was evident from the start of the game, with Jenny Perret opening the scoring in the 12th minute. Marseille doubled their lead just before half-time thanks to Mathilde Bourdieu.
In the second half, Corinne Diacre's players hammered home their advantage. Margaux Le Mouël scored the third and final goal of the match.
With this victory, OM moves up to eighth place and puts its opponent of the day, MHSC, in the first relegation spot, four points behind. In the next match, on Wednesday 14 January at 7 p.m., OM will host AS Saint-Etienne at the Francis-Turcan stadium in Martigues.
