Away in Strasbourg, Marseille won 4–2 thanks to four goals from Mathilde Bourdieu.

At kick-off, ten points separated the two teams in the standings, but this gap in favour of the Alsatians was not evident on the pitch. In the fifth minute, Mathilde Bourdieu began her scoring spree by opening the scoring. Reduced to ten players after a quarter of an hour, Strasbourg struggled. The Marseille striker took advantage of this to score a brace in the 19th minute. Despite the home side reducing the deficit, Mathile Bourdieu scored a third goal in the first half, assisted by Melissa Herrera.

Shortly after the break, Mathile Bourdieu sealed Olympique's victory with a fourth goal. The RC Strasbourg players narrowed the gap again before the hour mark. Corinne Diacre took advantage of the two-goal lead to make several changes in the second half. Her players won 4-2 in Strasbourg and are now six points clear of the relegation zone.

In their next match, on Saturday 21 January at 9 p.m., OM will host OL Lyonnes at the Francis-Turcan stadium in Martigues.
