Mathilde Bourdieu joins Les Marseillaises
Mathilde Bourdieu is the first recruit of the summer mercato for our women's professional team, which will play in the Arkema Premier League in 2025-2026.
Born in Paris on April 15, 1999, Mathilde began playing soccer at the age of 4 with AS Pompignan, a club located between Toulouse and Montauban. At seven, she joined Toulouse FC. With the “Violettes”, she grew to reach the second division between 2014 and 2016. With 5 goals in 11 games in 2015-2016, Mathilde Bourdieu caught the eye of Juvisy. She played her first D1 match there at just 17 years of age.
In 2017, the club changed its name to Paris FC. Mathilde's career took off and she established herself as one of the top scorers in the Arkema Premier League. In 122 games, she scored 38 goals for the Parisian club in the elite. The striker also discovered the European Cup. On the continental stage, she found the back of the net 6 times in 16 matches.
A French international from the U16 level upwards, she progressed through the youth ranks. She contested the Euro U19 final in 2017. She won her first senior cap against Norway on October 31, 2023.
After nine seasons with PFC, Mathilde Bourdieu joins OM, freshly promoted to the Arkema Premier League. The international striker will bring a wealth of experience and qualities to Frédéric Gonçalves' team.
