Gambardella: OM qualifies against Colomiers

Our young players secured their place in the next round of the Gambardella Cup by defeating US Colomiers 4–1.

Although OM's qualification and comfortable victory in the first round of the Coupe Gambardella will be the main talking point, it wasn't all plain sailing for Grégory Auger's players. After being caught off guard just after the quarter-hour mark by a goal from US Colomiers, our Olympians responded quickly and effectively. By half-time, they had taken the lead with goals from Dan Cohen and Said Remadnia.

In the second half, Antoine Valero and then Moctar Guirassy added to the score for a final 4-1 victory for OM.

The draw for the round of 64 will take place on Thursday 18 December.
