A first scientific symposium organized by the OM on February 11
Olympique de Marseille will hold its first scientific symposium on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Orange Vélodrome, focusing on a key and topical issue in high-level sport: support for high-level athletes who have suffered anterior cruciate ligament tears.
Designed as a forum for knowledge sharing, dialogue between experts, and the dissemination of scientific advances, this symposium is part of the club's commitment to structuring and strengthening its overall approach to athlete performance and health.
Anterior cruciate ligament tears are one of the most feared injuries in high-level sport, both for their physical and psychological consequences. The recovery and return to performance phase is a major challenge, requiring multidisciplinary and individualized care.
Through this conference, OM aims to bring together professionals from the medical and sporting worlds to share expertise, practical experience, and insights into supporting injured athletes, from rehabilitation to return to competition, fully integrating the mental and human dimensions.
The detailed program will be announced at a later date, but the conference will include presentations by Olympique de Marseille's medical team (doctors, physical therapists, nutritionists), as well as testimonials from former OM players who have experienced this type of injury, alongside other experts in high-level sports.
As places are limited, registration is mandatory. The cost of attending the conference is €132.
