Olympique de Marseille is pleased to announce that Marco Otero has joined the Football Department, as Technical Director in charge of youth development.

Internationally recognised in the world of youth development, Marco Otero has built up a solid reputation in this field. For over 20 years, Marco has been training young players with great potential, notably in Switzerland and Spain.
 
Since 2019, he has been the Technical Director of the Valencia CF academy, one of the best academies in Europe according to the European Football Observatory (CIES). Pablo Longoria knows Marco Otero well, having recruited and appointed him at the Spanish club.

 

Marco will bring his expertise to Olympique de Marseille and will be in charge of optimising the performance of the youth training centre as well as developing an identity and a specific training methodology.
 
The club is delighted with the arrival of Marco Otero and welcomes him.
