On Wednesday 14 May, the Orange Vélodrome hosted the first edition of the “Avenir Olympien” Forum, an event co-organised by Treizième Homme and the OM Association, with the support of the Région Sud, aimed at secondary school and university students in the region.

Designed as an opportunity for discussion, inspiration and discovery, this forum highlighted the diversity of careers in sport, extending far beyond the playing field.

Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to meet staff from Olympique de Marseille, as well as professionals from the world of sport, who came to share their experiences. From roles in communications, marketing and human resources to sports coaching, the young people in attendance gained an insight into the inner workings of a football club and the many different career paths available within it.

At the start of the event, Fabrizio Ravanelli, OM’s institutional and sporting advisor, and Eugène Caselli, president of the OM Association, were keen to highlight the club’s responsibility in this area, as a key player in the local community.
