Igor Paixão

Biographie
Born on 28 June 2000 in Macapa, northern Brazil, Igor Paixão joined the Coritiba academy, where he signed his first professional contract in 2018... before being loaned to Londrina (Serie C), whom he helped promote to Serie B.
Back at his home club, he shone and attracted interest from Europe. Feyenoord finally signed him for five years. Igor exploded onto the scene in the Dutch league and the Europa League. He won the league title in 2023, then the Dutch Cup (with a decisive goal in the final) and the Johan Cruyff Shield (Champions Trophy) in 2024.
This was followed by individual recognition in 2025: 18 goals, 14 assists and the honorary title of Dutch Footballer of the Year.
These statistics resonate in his native country, as Igor Paixão was included in a preliminary selection of 52 players for the Brazilian national team last February.
