Gambardella: eliminated on penalties
Everything had started well for Grégory Auger's players on OGC Nice's pitch in the 32nd round of the Coupe Gambardella. In the 13th minute, Antoine Valero gave his team the lead with a well-executed counter-attack. Unfortunately, in the second half, the Azuréens equalised with a penalty.
At the end of regulation time, the score was 1-1, and the match went to penalties. Nice emerged victorious from the shootout.
Our Olympians' Gambardella Cup adventure thus came to an end in the round of 32.
