Jun Zhai, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in France and Liying Zhu, Consul General of China, were welcomed to the Orange Velodrome and were met by OM owner Frank McCourt and OM Chairman Jacques-Henri Eyraud. The two Olympien officials presented official jerseys in Mandarin to the two Chinese officials. For the occasion, the Club was decorated in the colors of China.

Eighteen Chinese students in Marseille at Kedge Business School were invited to the stadium. They toured the bowels of the Orange Velodrome: dressing room, tunnel, pitch ...

The players of Olympique de Marseille wore jerseys with their names printed in Mandarin for the match.

Finally, before the players walkout, a traditional Chinese Dragon Dance took place on the pitch of the Marseilles stadium.

Thanks to the Thanh Long Võ Đạo school for their traditional dance performed on the Orange Vélodrome Stadium pitch before kick-off to celebrate the Chinese New Year. This school perpetuates and shares their tradition here in Marseille.
