LFFP Cup: Les Marseillaises beat TFC
In their third LFFP Cup match, away at Toulouse FC, the Marseille women got off to a perfect start. They went into the break leading 2-1. Jenny Perret opened the scoring shortly after the half-hour mark. Jody Brown doubled the lead just before half-time, but Toulouse pulled one back in added time at the end of the first half.
In a hard-fought second half, Corinne Diacre's players made the difference by scoring another goal, this time by Mathilde Bourdieu. They won 3-1.
In the standings, Marseille lead Group C with 8 points, ahead of MHSC (7 points), Toulouse FC (3 points) and Rodez AF (0 points).
