Our team competing in the UEFA Youth League secured its first victory in the competition by beating Newcastle.

With only one point to their name after four UEFA Youth League matches, Lasaad Hasni's players had no choice but to win if they wanted to keep their hopes of qualifying for the next stage of the competition alive. And that's exactly what they did, taking the game by the scruff of the neck. In the 13th minute, Said Remadnia opened the scoring with a decisive pass from Antoine Valero. Facing a ten-man opponent in the 67th minute, OM sealed their first victory in the competition with a second goal from Antoine Valero at the very end of the match.

With this win, OM now has four points, and everything will be decided on the final matchday, Tuesday 9 December at 2.30pm at Union Saint-Gilloise.
