In a hard-fought match, our U17 team clinched victory in the final quarter of an hour against Entente Saint-Clément Montferrier.

OM, the league leaders, faced ESCM, stuck at the bottom of the table. On paper, this could have been a walk in the park for Stéphane François's players. But the Héraultais fought tooth and nail, and it was only in the last quarter of an hour that our Olympians managed to tip the balance in their favour.

Before that, from the start of the match, the two teams traded blows. The Marseillais opened the scoring in the 5th minute, but ESCM responded after a quarter of an hour. This scenario was repeated, first with another Olympian goal followed by an equaliser from Hérault, and then again in the second half.

The group leaders took the lead for the third time in the match before being caught up a few minutes later.

3-3, it was a spectacular match at the OM Campus, but not enough for the three points. Fortunately, Marseille's fourth goal was not followed by an equaliser, but by a fifth Olympique goal.

With this victory, OM remains in first place, now six points ahead of RCO Agde. On the next match day, Sunday 8 March at 3pm, OM will travel to Olympique Rovenain.
