Metz-OM (0-3): Post-match statistics
With their victory on FC Metz's home turf, OM secured their fourth consecutive win in Ligue 1. This is the longest winning streak for our Olympians since December 2023. In these last four victories, Roberto De Zerbi's players have kept three clean sheets and conceded only one goal, in Strasbourg. The win in Metz is also their second consecutive away victory in Ligue 1.
In 2025, OM has scored at least three goals in a McDonald's Ligue 1 match eleven times. This is the highest total in the top flight. In the last 14 L1 matches, OM has achieved this feat eight times.
The win in Metz came courtesy of goals from Igor Paixão, Matt O'Rilet and Amine Gouiri. These three players have all opened their L1 accounts this season. This brings the number of different goalscorers for OM in the top flight in 2025-26 to 11. In the European Top 5, no other team has more.
At the Stade Saint-Symphorien, Amine Gouiri and Matt O'Riley scored and provided an assist for each other. This is a first for two OM players in Ligue 1 since December 2023 with Chancel Mbemba and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Lorient 2-4 OM).
