The Marseillaises defeated in Martigues

On the third day of Arkema Première Ligue, Marseille hosted FC Fleury 91 with the ambition of picking up their first points of the season. Unfortunately, Dalin Anrifani's side conceded two goals from Fleury's first two chances. Despite a tremendous effort, Marseille were unable to close the gap and lost 2-0.

On the next match day, Saturday 4 October at 5pm, Marseille, second from bottom in the table, will travel to Saint-Etienne, bottom of the Arkema Première Ligue.
