Away in Saint-Etienne, Marseille won their first victory of the season in the Arkema Première Ligue with a score of 4–0.

Two goals from Mathilde Bourdieu and Melissa Herrera gave OM their first win of the season in the Arkema Première Ligue. It was an important victory against an opponent who, like OM, had no points in the standings at kick-off.

Les Marseillaises opened the scoring through Mathilde Bourdieu after just 15 minutes. Melissa Herrera doubled the lead just before half-time. At the start of the second half, the Costa Rican scored her second goal. Mathilde Bourdieu followed suit at the end of the match to seal a fine victory on the Verts' home turf.

OM moves up to tenth place in the table. On Saturday 11 October, OM will play in the LFFP Cup at Rodez AF.
