A brace from Margaux Le Mouël helped Marseille secure an important home win against RC Lens.

Facing Arkema Première Ligue's bottom club, Marseille were determined to win in front of their home crowd at the Francis Turcan stadium in Martigues. They made the difference in the second half with two goals from Margaux Le Mouël, much to the delight of the fans who braved the freezing mistral wind to turn out in force.

With this victory, and pending the other matches of the eighth day of the championship, OM moves up to eighth place. On the next match day, Friday 5 December at 7pm, Marseille will host Paris SG.
