At the start of the ninth matchday of the Arkema Première Ligue, our Marseille women's team lost 5-1 at home to Paris SG.

The Marseille players knew they were facing one of the best teams in the country. In the cold of the Francis Turcan stadium in Martigues, and despite the support of more than 2,500 fans, Corinne Diacre's players conceded a goal from PSG's first chance.

They then held their own against their opponents and, in the second half, shortly after coming on, Jenny Perret equalized. It was a goal that gave OM hope. Unfortunately, that hope was short-lived. The Parisian women stepped up a gear and scored two goals in quick succession. At the end of the match, PSG scored two more goals to make the final score 5-1.

In the standings, before the other matches of the day, OM is ninth with 8 points. On the next match day, Sunday, December 14, at 1 p.m., OM will travel to FC Nantes.
