Away at Fleury FC 91, Marseille secured a point in the final minutes of the match.

After their home defeat to Saint-Etienne last Wednesday, Corinne Diacre's players were determined to put in a good performance and pick up points against a team in the top half of the table. Not only was the performance good, but they also came away from their trip to the Paris region with something to show for their efforts. The Marseille women conceded a goal in the first half, but in the second half they had several chances to equalise through Melissa Herrera, who hit the post, and Jenny Perret, with a free kick. It was finally from a direct corner by Tess Laplacette, poorly handled by the opposing goalkeeper, that OM equalised and snatched a point from the match.

In the standings, Marseille are in ninth place with 12 points. Next weekend, on Sunday 25 January at 2.30 p.m., they will host OL Lyon at the OM Campus in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France Féminine.
