Sintia Cabezas joins OM
A 19-year-old winger, Sintia began her professional career at a very young age with América de Cali, where she made her mark in the Colombian first division at the age of 16. In two seasons, she played 47 matches, won the Colombian championship title in 2022 and helped her club finish third in the Copa Libertadores that same year. She was then recruited by San Diego Wave FC, before being loaned successively to Lexington SC and then Levante UD, a Liga F club, where she played this season.
On the international stage, Mary Álvarez's teammate has established herself as a key player in the Colombian youth teams. A starter in the 2022 and 2024 South American U20 Championships, she also played the entire 2024 U20 World Cup in Colombia, reaching the quarter-finals.
An explosive winger, the young Cafetera arrives in Marseille to put her speed, agility and ability to make a difference in one-on-one situations at the service of the Marseille team.
Welcome to Marseille, Sintia!
