On Wednesday afternoon, Marseille lost 2–1 to Paris Saint-Germain.

They fought hard and only cracked in the final moments of the match. Against PSG, Corinne Diacre's players held their own throughout the first half and much of the second. They cracked in the last twenty minutes, conceding two goals in the 72nd and 79th minutes. Shortly afterwards, Jenny Perret, set up by Melissa Herrera, reduced the deficit with a superb first-time strike into the top corner. Unfortunately, despite their efforts in the dying minutes, Marseille were unable to equalise, but they did manage to hold their own against one of the league's big teams.

In the standings, OM remain in ninth place. In their next match, on Sunday 22 March at 3pm, OM will travel to Le Havre AC.
