Today
Twenty years on, Olympique de Marseille has added its name to the roll of honour at the Mondial Football Montaigu for the second time.

Every year since 1973, the Mondial Football Montaigu has brought together U17 teams from all over the world to compete on various pitches across the Vendée region. It had been twenty years since Marseille last won this prestigious tournament.

After a near-perfect run, during which they notably beat Nice in the group stage and Nantes in the semi-finals, our team, coached by Stéphane François, brilliantly won the final against RC Strasbourg, winners of the 2025 edition. Eliott Leprieur and Enzo Makumba, from the penalty spot, scored Marseille’s two goals against the Alsatians, who had beaten them in the group stage, 4–3.
