U19: OM snatch a draw at Cavigal Nice
Away at Cavigal Nice, who sit third in Group D of the National U19 Championship, our team—currently second in the table—could, had they won, have opened up an eight-point lead over the Azuréens.
Unfortunately, the match did not go our way. The Nice side opened the scoring in the second half. At that stage of the game, Cavigal Nice were just two points behind OM in the league. Fortunately, Grégory Auger’s players gave it their all right to the end and their efforts paid off in stoppage time. From a cross, Félix Bienck headed home to secure a draw for his team, earning them a point and maintaining a five-point lead over their opponents.
In the next fixture, on Sunday 12 April at 3pm, OM will host SC Aubagne Air Bel at the OM Campus.
