A tribute to dockers and the sea

Blue like the Mediterranean Sea, the design of the third jersey for the 2025/2026 season is inspired by the contours and undulations of the sea. Powerful yellow details recall the work jackets of dockers, those unsung heroes who embody effort, courage and solidarity. This shirt is a bridge between the football pitch and the docks, between a passion for the game and working-class pride.

A story from Marseille, for the whole world

Marseille is a symbol of openness, and its port is a gateway to the world. A true crossroads city, it is here that cultures, destinies and passions intersect. This new jersey embodies this international dimension, as the club prepares to return to European competition.

The shirt is also a nod to Gunnar Andersson, a club legend who became a docker after his career: a strong link between the glory of the pitch and the simplicity of everyday life.

A unique campaign in Marseille, co-created by Olympique de Marseille, PUMA and CMA CGM

To launch this new jersey, Olympique de Marseille, PUMA and the CMA CGM Group have devised a unique communication campaign, filmed in the heart of the Med Europe terminal, a symbol of Marseille's port activity. On an improvised pitch between containers, dockers, CMA CGM employees and professional players from Olympique de Marseille came together for a ‘ball game’, as they like to say in Marseille, embodying the city's openness to the world and passion for the game.

This campaign highlights Marseille's energy, friendliness and intergenerational ties. It is a celebration of a city where a thousand languages are spoken but where everyone plays the same game.

This project marks the first such extensive collaboration between an equipment manufacturer, a club and its main sponsor around a jersey.

Jersey technology

Like the home and away jerseys, the third jersey is available in Authentic and Replica versions. The Authentic jersey, worn by the players, is made with PUMA's ULTRAWEAVE technology, reducing weight and friction for optimal performance. The Replica version offers the same striking design with a more relaxed fit, ideal for match days and everyday wear. Both models feature PUMA's dryCELL technology, which wicks away sweat to keep players and fans comfortable and cool.

As part of PUMA's commitment to sustainability, the Replica jerseys are designed through the RE:FIBRE initiative, which recycles textile waste to create new materials without compromising quality. Made from at least 95% recycled textile waste and other reused polyester materials, these jerseys mark a significant step towards circular and sustainable production of football equipment.

The new Olympique de Marseille third shirt is now available in the club's official store network, at boutique.om.fr, at puma.com and from most retailers.
