A unique look at wastewater treatment in Marseille

As part of the partnership between SUEZ and Treizième Homme, employees of Olympique de Marseille and Salomé Elisor, a player for the Marseillaises, had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the heart of the Géolide wastewater treatment plant in Marseille, a strategic water treatment site located near the Orange Vélodrome stadium.

Welcomed by teams from SERAMM, a SUEZ subsidiary responsible for sanitation in the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolitan area, they learned about the different stages of the treatment process, from the arrival of wastewater to its return to the Mediterranean Sea. This educational visit was designed to raise awareness of the challenges associated with water management and the everyday actions we can take to preserve this essential resource.
