OM-Angers (2-2): Coach's reaction
A difficult start to the match
It's hard to explain, we had lost two matches but had created chances. We had fresh players, we expected a different situation. We chased the score, we came back, we took the lead. It's a problem we've seen in other matches and even within the same match.
Bilal Nadir
He regained consciousness. He went to hospital for tests. We're concerned, but we hope it's nothing serious.
The changes in the second half
If a player isn't performing well, you have to change him, that's my job. I'm not pointing the finger at those who came off, they may well be in the starting line-up at Auxerre.
An OM that concedes too many goals
What worries me most is that we've been conceding two goals per match since Le Havre. That's a lot, and it's difficult to win matches when you concede two goals.
Concerned about the current spiral
No, I'm not concerned. Since I've been here, I have no complaints about the club, which is trying to raise its level. Frank McCourt, Pablo Longoria and Medhi Benatia are doing an extraordinary job of raising OM's level and pushing it upwards. We need to know if we want to help the club progress and push it upwards, and if we want to be part of that.
Robinho Vaz
No, we mustn't put too much pressure on him. He plays because he's strong, he already was last year. He's not here to be sold to England. We're trying to support him, but he's already proven that he's a big part of this team.
The sequence of matches
Injuries have an impact. We have to look at fatigue in a certain way. At Sassuolo, we played one match a week. Here, we play three matches a week, so we shouldn't complain. If we can't keep up the pace... We deserved to play two matches a week.
What levers to activate
We're united in the dressing room, we're sad and disappointed. All the players are strong and good people. We mustn't throw everything away, especially what we've taken so long to build. What bothers me is the first half. OM can't play that kind of first half.
