Our U17 team defeated RCO Agde and took first place in Group E.

The postponed match of the 10th day of Pool E of the U17 National Championship between OM and RCO Agde felt like a final for the first half of the season. Indeed, Agde, the leader, was three points ahead of OM at kick-off.

Aware of the importance of the match, Stéphane François's players immediately put in the necessary effort to take control of the game. It didn't take long for their dominance to pay off. In the 12th minute, Elies Diallo scored the opening goal at the far post from an excellent cross. Agde's response was swift, equalising in the 38th minute. Five minutes later, just before half-time, Elies Diallo scored again at the far post from a corner.

Throughout the second half, despite several chances, the score remained unchanged.

With this victory, OM dethroned the leaders, RCO Agde, and took their place at the top of Group E on goal difference. On the next match day, Sunday 18 January at 2.30 p.m., OM will travel to Rodez AF, who are seventh in the table.
