On the occasion of the club’s 120th anniversary, we take you back into the great and beautiful history of the Club with some highlights.
11 years ago, on August 27, 2008, the Olympique de Marseille met the Norwegians of Brann Bergen in the preliminary round back of the Champions League. The occasion for OM and a whole stadium to pay a vibrant tribute to Imad and Lahcen, tragically disappeared a few days earlier when traveling by bus to Le Havre. History will retain the qualification for the hens phase (2 goals to 1) but also and especially the double scored by Mamadou Niang who will celebrate, knees down in front of the North turn, one of his goals while thinking of these two fans of OM.
