Samir Nasri is celebrating his 32 birthday! Born in Marseille on June 26, 1987, Samir Nasri was passionate about football from an early age. He played two seasons at Jeunesse Sportive des Pennes Mirabeau before joining Olympique de Marseille in 1995. At the OM Academy, the club of his heart, he played in the youth categories of the before signing his first professional contract in 2004.

On 12 September of the same year, in Sochaux (2-0), he replaced Benoît Cheyrou and played his first minutes as an Olympien in Ligue 1. Nasri quickly impressed fans with his excellent vision and his technical abilities. The playmaker became a centerpiece of the Olympien formation. During his time at OM (2004-2008), the French international (41 caps, 5 goals) played more than 100 matches with twelve goals and he won the Intertoto Cup in 2005. He was a finalist for Coupe de France twice (2006, 2007) and runner up in France in 2007.

Elected best hope of Ligue 1 in 2008, the native of Marseille, from parents of Algerian origin, then successively joined Arsenal (2008-2011), Manchester City (2011-2017), Seville on loan (2016-2017), Antalyaspor (2017-2018) and West Ham (2018-2019). The U17 European Champion (2004) has expanded his track record by winning two English titles with Manchester City (2012, 2014), a League Cup (2014) and a Community Shield (2012).
