In her first match as manager of OM, Corinne Diacre and her team defeated Rodez AF.

Arriving in Marseille at the beginning of the week, Corinne Diacre had her baptism of fire on the OM bench in Aveyron on the second day of the LFFP Cup. Although the score was 0-0 at half-time, it was at the very beginning of the second half that OM made the difference. Mathilde Bourdieu used her speed to get the better of her opponent before beating the Ruthénoise goalkeeper. Shortly afterwards, Marta Carro jumped higher than everyone else to double the lead from a corner. RAF reduced the deficit on the hour mark, but Marseille held on and kept the score unchanged until the final whistle.

OM leads Group C of the LFFP Cup with five points. In the next round of the competition, on Saturday 15 November at 3pm, OM will travel to Toulouse Football Club. The Marseille women will return to Arkema Première Ligue action on Saturday 18 October at 5pm with an away match against Paris FC.
